Team Jump
Curtis Jackson
AVP Professional Beach Volleyball Player
"As a professional athlete I rely on JUMP's pharmaceutical grade supplements and top-of-the-line meal replacement bars to keep me focused and strong through training, competition, and the rigors of traveling coast to coast. As a strength coach to professional, collegiate, and elite youth athletes I am grateful to have these same products to give them an edge over the competition as well."
Curtis began playing volleyball under the streetlights at the age of 9 with his older brother and first coach Trent, to whom he credits with teaching him the work ethic to become a rising star on the AVP. That work ethic eventually led him to a Junior Olympics Silver Medal, High School CIF Championship, Junior College State Championship, NCAA Division I final in 1999 with Long Beach State, and four national championships with Team Paul Mitchell. Curtis was the first Libero in the history of Long Beach State and still holds the single season record for digs per game at 2.52. After an injury plagued career, Curtis decided to hang it up after college and concentrate on training athletes so they didn't have to go through the same pains he did. This became the basis for opening JUMP: Elite Performance Lab in Solana Beach, Ca. Using his Kinesiology degree from LBSU and training from the CHEK Institute and Poliquin Performance Center, Curtis was able to rehabilitate himself and in 2009 decided to rejoin the sport he gave up 9 years earlier. At age 32 he is now healthier and happier than ever and it is showing in his rise through the AVP rankings. Curtis plans to make his biggest impact in the 2010 season after an off-season of dedicated strength and JUMP training. He is looking forward to playing internationally and testing his skills against the rest of the world.
Curtis is married to AVP pro and former UCLA All-American, Krystal Jackson. His brother Trent is one of the most respected coaches in Orange County having won CIF titles at both Canyon and Edison high schools and his sister Regan played at CSU Hayward.

Mike Morrison
AVP Professional Beach Volleyball Player
“I train hard everyday, on and off the court. JUMP Nutrition’s quality supplements have helped me get to where I am at today and where I will be in the future.”
Mike was born and raised in a suburb of Detroit, MI. He grew up far from the beach and even further from organized men’s volleyball. After earning his undergrad degree, at Western Michigan University, his love for competitive athletics drew him to start competing in some beach volleyball events on the shores of Lake Michigan. One summer of getting humbled was pure motivation and in 2002 he moved to Southern California to pursue playing beach volleyball professionally.
Mike is a firm believer in training hard and fueling your body with good nutrition and quality supplements. His natural athleticism and dream of playing a professional sport allowed him to excel quickly and Mike qualified into his first AVP main event at the 2004 Manhattan Beach Open. Since then his results and national ranking have steadily improved every season.
Mike will soon represent the US on the International Beach Volleyball tour with the goal of making a run for an Olympic spot in 2012 & 2016.
